Where can I obtain katana swords? (High quality, originals or authentic replicas?)?

    Authentic Japanese Katanas will cost thousands if not tens of thousands. However, modern steel forging techniques can make modern swords comparable to folded steel. Spring steel is decent, giving the weapons more tensile strength without reducing their ability to hold an edge.

    You can get a high end Hanwei Katana for well under a thousand dollars, or you can get a Cheness katana for a few hundred. Cheness swords are about the best deal for the money in the

    I saw a special on PBS that was on katanas. It said hand made katanas in Japan can go up to a few hundred thousand dollars US depending on quality. They were selling them at some sort of art show. I hope this helps.

    Dude don’t listen to any of these idiots. Go to ryansword.com they have top quality katanas for the most amazing prices. These are sword lovers that make real swords and don’t dick over americans (or others) for their buck.The best part is the have all different swords and materials from folded steel to 1050 asi 1060 asi 1095 asi and so forth.You wont find any stainless steel or any of that other fake junk there,Hope this helps man cause I’m a fellow sword collector
