Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Arcade Game is an arcade game produced by Konami in 1989. It is a scrolling beat ‘em up based on the popular comic and the 1987 TV series of the same name. As with all merchandise relating to the Ninja Turtles, the name of this game was altered to Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles in Europe, due to censorship issues involving the word “ninja.” The Japanese release of the arcade game bore the subtitle of Super Kame Ninja (スーパー亀忍者, Sūpā Kame Ninja, lit …

    this is the arcade version, its shorter and more advanced than the nes version

    I remember playing this with my brother. I would always play Leonardo. He was my favorite. My brother would play Mikey. Or raphel and every now and then Donotelo. Sometimes I switched out a little and played Mikey.

    We would always jump and kick to fight off rocksteady took awile to win that way but it was the safest way to fight. we would fight over who would fight certain villians and who turn it was to get the pizza that resotred your life.

    yeah, it’s never very promising for the remainder of any game if you get killed in the first level.

    Really.. I might just be behind these days in technology but is possible to find this and other old school arcade games for the game systems? If so man somebody please tell me..you can find this hidden in the ps2 tmnt games but its not the same as this one, its missing certain features from the actual arcade version…

    Man i remember this game lol. When ever the fun fair come to town i used to play this and there was others that i really liked like WWF. These game were the best of my days isnt is kinda sad that we have to grow up and can only live that part of our lifes in our memorys.

    my friend has this on his x-box 360. we played this game a few times already. I’m gonna download this on the PS3 and Megaman 9.
