Multi bar composite sword

Hello All, I am Ric Furrer of www.doorcountyforgeworks.com Here is a series of photos showing how a very complex sword blade is forged. If you research early European swords you will find multi-bar swords with two,three and four bars in many cultures, but rarely will you find higher bar numbers. recently there have been a few swords documented with eight bars and one suspected 12 bar blade. Here you see a recreation of that 12 bar blade..the only one I know. This blade is for sale and can be completed with a custom handle and sheath. I make damascus steel (pattern-welded) as well as wootz swords and knives
