This is not meant as a skill run but to show the levels, as much item chests as possible and give tips on weapons and boss fights. The boss is boring and the werewolves are troublesome to fight (hit stun effects are whacked with them). The only redeeming factor for this chapter is that it contains my favorite weapon: Dragon’s Claw & Tiger’s Fang Two large Japanese swords, wielded as a pair. It might seem difficult ot hold one blade in each hand, but these swords have been modified to allow them to be wielded together. The tsuba, or hand guard, of each weapon has holes in it to reduce the weight close to the sword hand. This design, known as Musashi-tsuba, was first proposed by legendary swordsman Miyamoto Musashi. This chapter also introduces the Ninja Dogs and the Mages, both very annoying enemies to fight. At least this chapter only has one bossfight…..the Rasetsu doesn’t count as a boss as it usually dies within 15 seconds XD At level 2, the true might of the Lunar has been unleashed! My first music video for Ninja Gaiden II, to the song Hado Ninpocho (覇道忍法帖) by Onmyoza (陰陽座). Minor spoilers are inevitable I guess, since this is a gameplay video afterall, so be warned if you have not finished the game. All footage was taken from my first play-through of Path of the Warrior. I used some of the costumes obtainable from Xbox Live Marketplace (using Microsoft points) like the Fiend and Biometal costumes. This video features only the claws (Falcon Talons) and ninja enemies; other weapons and enemies will make their appearances in later videos. Stay tuned…

This gigantic scythe has long been a prized weapon among the Lycanthrope tribe of fiends. As its name suggests, its design was inspired by the natural phenomenon of the solar eclipse. The roots of the weapon can be traced back to an ancient sacrifice ritual. When the king of an ancient Lycanthrope tribe was overthrown, his body was tossed into a vat of molten Wootz steel, also know as Dasmascus steel. From this steel, the scythe was forged. After being hammered into rough but solid shape, the blade of the scythe was quenched by repeatedly plunging it into the bodies of living human beings. It is said that it took a full nine days for the scythe to cool completely. One would think that the characteristic grain pattern of Damascus steel should be visible on the scythe’s surface, but at present such a texture is nowhere to be found. Hayabusa cared little about the texture of the scythe or even the history; the only thing he’s worried about is how long it’s going to take to wash the blood off after massacring his enemies in this video… Music: Danger – Black Milk
