BLACK REVERSE BLADE JAPANESE KENSHIN SAKABATO SWORD

Himura Kenshin is a fictional character in the anime and manga series Rurouni Kenshin, also known as Samurai X.Kenshin was a former assassin who has mastered the technique of Battōjutsu (sword drawing technique) and could draw his sword with lightning speed. After receiving his reverse-bladed sword (sakabato), Kenshin assumes the life of a rurouni (wanderer) and travels freely, helping strangers here and there. The edge of the blade of this sakabato is on the inside of the curve of the blade. This feature is unique and enables to use a variation of techniques including short blade slashes and parries with an immediate counter strike. Sharp blade of the sword is 440 stainless steel with the hamon along the edge of the blade. The hardwood saya (scabbard) of the sword featuring a black gloss finish and comes with a golden Japanese “kanji” symbol standing for “strength”.
